Smart Lock Setup
Pair your smart lock with the iCSee Home app, configure lock settings, and manage passwords, modes, and sharing.
This guide explains how to connect your smart lock to the iCSee Home app and configure its settings. After the lock hardware is installed and the batteries are in place, follow the steps below to register, pair, and manage your lock from your phone.
The iCSee Home app is required to use this lock. Make sure this step is performed by the homeowner who will act as the administrator.
Before You Start
- Install the lock and fit 8 AA alkaline batteries (not included) with the correct polarity. Use new, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries only.
- Place the lock and your Wi-Fi router on the same floor to ensure stable connectivity. Keep them within roughly 39 ft (12 m) of each other.
- The lock connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. If your Wi-Fi is 5 GHz, switch it to 2.4 GHz first.
Register an Account
Download the iCSee Home app from the Google Play Store or the App Store (search for "iCSee Home", or scan the QR code in the printed guide), then create an account.
Open the app and tap Register
On the login screen, tap Register, choose your country/region, and enter your mobile number or email.
Set a password
Enter and confirm a password that meets the Password rule, agree to the Service Agreement and Privacy Policy, then tap Next Step to finish creating your account.
Pair the Lock
Add the lock to your account from the app home page. Make sure the lock is in network-configuration mode before you begin.
For battery-operated devices, wake up the lock or switch it to network-configuration mode before adding it. Keep the door open while pairing.

Add the lock
On the home page, tap the + (Add Device) button to start adding the lock.
Confirm the device found
The app displays the device it found. Confirm it, then set the device name and choose a device location.
Continue setup
Tap Next Step.
Run the unlock-direction check
Tap Start Check to verify the unlock direction, then tap Next Step.
Connect to your network
On the Connect to Network screen, enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name and password, then tap Connect. The password must be at least 8 characters. Choose a Wi-Fi with a stable, strong signal.
Complete setup
Tap Complete to finish setup. The lock is now paired successfully.
During the final step you can review the Device Configuration Boot options:

- Push Alarm — receive lock alerts on your phone.

In the anti-lock state, you can still unlock with the administrator password, a remote unlock via the Family Owner's app, the physical key, or a manual unlock.
