Playback Failure or Network Timeout?
Troubleshooting steps for memory card read failure or playback issues on 4G cameras
If your device cannot read or play back recordings, follow these troubleshooting steps:
-
Check memory card installation - Verify that the device has a memory card installed. During installation, the device must be powered off, and hot-swapping is not supported.
-
Re-plug the memory card - Check whether the memory card reads properly. If not, power off the device and re-plug the memory card (hot-plugging is not supported).
-
Use recommended memory cards - Use a high-speed memory card (Class 10 or above). SanDisk or Kingston memory cards are recommended.
-
Check memory card capacity - The memory card capacity must be between 8GB and 128GB.
-
Format used memory cards - If using a previously used TF card, insert it into a computer for formatting first, then cold-plug it into the device.
Please export and save important data from the memory card before formatting.
- Replace worn memory cards - Using the memory card continuously for a long time may cause read failures or damage. It is recommended to replace with a new card for playback.
How to View Playback
In the device preview interface, tap the "Cloud Storage/Card Storage" button at the bottom, then drag to view recordings.
